A programme of choral music inspired by the history of the Howard family and their famous recusancy in the sixteenth century. Schumann – Piano Quintet

The Piano Quintet is One of the jewels from Schumann’s ‘chamber music year’, this quintet, sketched out in just five days, was dedicated to his wife Clara and has remained one of his best-loved works.
